what is it?
A workshop unlike any other, given only once per year.

Graduates come away equipped to design and teach the most innovative and effective dog training classes in the industry.

why sign up?
To attract more business. Giving the best classes in town will create repeat business and rampant word of mouth for you. This workshop takes you beyond ‘the way it’s always been done.’

To be more effective. Your clients will retain learning better. As a result, they’ll train their dogs better and feel more successful. Everyone wins.

To invest in the future. With the knowledge and skill to design better classes from scratch, you can take your business forward. Now, and ten years from now.

To enjoy your work. Calm, focused learning environments are fun. Shrieking kids, distracted dog owners, and barking dogs are not.

the curriculum
Human Learning Theory: Constructivist Learning Theory provides an organizational framework for explaining how people make sense of complex ideas and gives us direction in developing curriculum.

Curriculum Theory: Including scaffolding and goal-based curriculum development, inform our work and lead to effective classes.

Curriculum Development: Approaches such as Backwards Planning give us a structured, step-by-step way to create classes and alleviate the stress of staring at blank pages wondering where to start.

Classroom Management: Innovative approaches to challenges such as reactive dogs, unruly children, interruptions, students who are off task, side conversations, etc., all but eliminate these worries and teach you how to create a calm, focused, fun learning environment.
